As of Saturday 2nd Jan 2021, Mace Aghalee will resume normal closing hours at 10pm. Unfortunately, due to NI Executive Covid regulations, the Off Sales part of the shop will close at 8pm. This is a temporary measure and we all look forward to a Covid free future in 2021. Happy New Year from Elaine, Alan and all the staff at Mace Aghalee. Due to the NI Executive relaxation of Covid regulations, Mace Aghalee Off Sales will now remain open to the normal time of 10pm. Merry Christmas from all the staff at Mace Aghalee.

Santa Clause and his elves have been busy in Mace Aghalee. Christmas Hampers now available in store. A variety of sizes and contents are available for immediate purchase. Hampers can also be made to your own personal choice and budget, including alcohol as required. Speak to a member of staff for further details. What would you like to see in your hamper?????

It gives me great pleasure to announce for the 5th year in a row, Mace Aghalee has won a ‘Shop of the Year Award’. This year we came runners up, winning the Silver. I would like to publicly thank all of the staff at Mace Aghalee for making the shop what it is. I would also like to thank all of our customers for their continued support and also, more importantly, for their friendship that they have shown us, even during the challenging times of Covid. Mace Aghalee Off-Licence restricted opening hours. Due to NI Executive Covid-19 measures, the Off-Licence will close at 8pm. The remainder of the store remains open as normal until 10pm. Once again, many thanks for your continued support.

An update from the Covid-19 Support Group

*Please pass this information on to anyone who is not on Facebook* The Government is issuing food boxes, and these are intended for any person who is in critica...l need of food in this crisis AND has to stay in their home AND has no other means of accessing food through, for example, their families or friends, and other means such as online or local shop food delivery. If the person has other family members who are also not able to leave the house in order to protect the vulnerable person they should also be provided with help single parents will need food for children, married couples will need for two persons. We in the Aghalee, Aghagallon & Ballinderry Support Group have also identified another eligible group those whose children are in receipt of free school meals. We have also set up our own temporary Food Bank this can be availed of by those experiencing financial and/or food hardship and who cannot leave their home and have difficulty accessing food by any other means. Due to Northern Ireland Licensing Laws our Off Sales will be closed on Easter Sunday. The shop will still be open throughout the full Easter period from 6.30am to 10.30pm. With the help of various members of the community we have now undertaken over 500 home shopping deliveries. These customers are so grateful that the community has come together during an unprecedented crisis and ensured they are able to receive the goods they require. I would like to personally thank the Staff of Mace Aghalee and the various volunteers for their professionalism and enthusiasm during these challenging times. #stronger#together
