Wednesday Wisdom Architecture should speak of its time and place, but yearn for timelessness - Frank Gehry. This frame hanging in our Wig Bar was gifted to our hotel in December 2015, before we officially opened our doors by Mr Tony Crowe.... Far from being a simple piece of artwork, these are the original drawings from when architect AA Forman was working for the Northern Counties Club to remodel the building which is now home to our hotel. Many of the character features of the building remain whilst we have added some more contemporary touches to bring the building into the 21st Century. It’s lovely to have such an important piece of history available for our guests to view and appreciate- make sure to take a look on your next visit!
