I’ve had a lot of questions about markets and I just want to do a quick PSA. We will let you know when and how the craft fairs will be restarting. It won’t be for a few weeks due to lock down but hopefully it will be in the not to distant future.

Have you ever tried water kafir? @aguademadre is a funky product that is not only delicious but also vegan. So if you are taking part in #veganuary this is the perfect product. Agua De Madre is made from fermenting a 'mother culture' (The 'Madre' in Agua De Madre!) of bacteria and yeast with organic natural fruits, to produce a delicious naturally sparkling, low sugar, vegan and thirst quenching drink with a comforting amount of probiotic live cultures. I first tried the product when I met the founder in London in 2019! I’ve been wanting to stock it ever since and finally can now say that it is available in the shop now! It’s delicious!

A brilliant day so far at our mini craft fair. Fair Open until 4pm and shop until 5pm. Tomorrow and Sunday we have our regular time fairs from 10am-3am.

This weekend we have another 3 craft fairs. Friday 11-4, Saturday 10-3 & Sunday 10-3 each day is a different group of stall holders offering different craft and Christmas presents. Check in the comments on the Facebook post for what is on offer this weekend.

Proud to say we are the only supplier of @richsciderfarm traditional Somerset cider in Scotland! We’ve got a wide range of their products from scrumpy, through to gift packs, black currant fused and 10L boxes of traditional farm house cider!

We are still accepting parcels for the post office at the moment. Royal Mail staff shortages are not affecting our ability to accept Mail but they may impact the time that it is taking for that Mail to be delivered. Please remember to always adhere to social distancing and COVID safe rules in the shop, this includes wearing and mask and sanitising your hands. Thanks, the mart farm shop team.

This year through all of your incredible support we have managed to donate over 2000KG of food to local food banks and charities - this includes a whopping 1300kg to the @east_lothian_foodbank over 200kg to the @lismorerfc food bank drive, more than 200kg to the Dunbar food bank. We’ve also manage to donate more than 1000 individual sanitary products especially with the help of @heygirlsuk - this year has been so challenging for so many but nothing is more heartwarming to me than the generosity of our incredible community! Thank you to absolutely everyone who donated from a Mars bar through to the incredibly generous cash donations.

It is crazy to say that our Christmas order book is almost full for this year! Order in shop this week from Jackie or Sheena to avoid disappointment. This week is a big week all around with the Friday night Christmas market & late night shopping as well as two craft fairs on Saturday and Sunday.
