For those people who are unaware of us and our supplier of ready meals, that are made fresh at the award winning Brig O Doon Hotel, we are still selling these delicious meals during the current lockdown. These locally made meals are made 400 metres from our shop and are an essential part of some of our customers daily diet due to their excellent quality and high nutritional value, these meals are: made local, for local, by local, using local produce. No mass produce, no food miles.

As you all know, here at Alloway Post Office we are huge supporters of local produce and love to support home grown produce where possible, the one and only down side is that almost all of our local suppliers are very small hands on operators who work very hard to supply us. No exception to this are the small team at Dalduff Farm who "knocked their pan out" during the month of December in butchering, preparing and delivering our pies, therefore, they are now on a well deserved break until 15th January. We will not comprise on high end local produce just to fill our shelves and therefore will have an empty shelf until normal service is resumed on the 15th January. Thank you all for your understanding.
