from the dyno room... MT09 Tracer GT Stock System - The results are in! I'm pleasantly surprised, I didn't expect to see a great deal of gains because the stock system is still in place. I excepted most of the gains to be "rider" oriented - Smoother pick up, better transition from a closed to a open throttle. We have all that and a good 10% increase in power. Not to mention the ability to now cruise at higher speeds in higher gears. we have only done one "stock" MT09 before - this was our first GT. This machine responded better than the last... Meanwhile..... another ZX10R engine is refreshed and ready for its chassis. All our engine rebuilds get a clean, disassembly, measured, new parts fitted as required, full gearbox inspection and the careful reassembly using in the best quality assembly lube and lots of care and attention.

Just a few jobs going on over in the service department today. VFR800 in for a brake problem that turned out to be because of warped discs. We fitted some EBC Brakes Discs and Pads and some new Michelin rubber and she will be ready to go. The Triumph is in for its 6000 miles service - we use the manufacturers service intervals and schedule to carry out our services. From Road to Race we have you covered!

Where do we start... what a year! WHAT A YEAR! When we stopped track support to re-focus on the workshop we back off of pushing mail order in a big way. It was to focus on a few aspects with all your heart and not try and do it all.... this pandemic then hit and everyone bought mail order (bit not though us lol) :0( so we have done our best to hunker down and crack on with what we do best. Some jobs have taken longer due to staff being away and trying to remain covid safe and... some stuff happened quicker than expected. All we want to say it THANK YOU. Thank you for your business and support us with your custom and thanks for bearing with us when things took a bit longer thank usual. Lets hope 2021 sees an improvement as we didn't even manage to get out and ride our own bikes this year! we were sent this info from the guys at Parkitt Dyno and Suspension - Bit of a think about it job. This Aprilia Tuono Sachs shock has been rebuilt to fit a NC700X. The end fittings are the same as is the length. Funny old year it has been in life and racing.... today’s see’s the end of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship for 2020. One thing for sure is that Josh Owens has made significant improvements on the CDH Racing Kawasaki ZX10R and given that he will also be racing for the team in 2021 we hope the foundation that has been built continues.
