Happy Easter to one and all! No new creations to photograph, so here's one of the few pieces I made for myself and wear often. Green garnet, diamond and a mixture of platinum and granulated gold - it's a piece about memories, time and strength. Wearing it gives me comfort and that extra bit of sparkle!... Stay safe, healthy and sane this Easter. (The featured goose egg has just made the most amazing omlette!)

Happy Mother's Day! I have taken a moment to think about my mum this morning - she died 12 years ago, but her influence is with me every day. A brilliant botanist, nature lover, star-gazer and all round kind soul. Here she is training as an outdoor leader in the Rangers before taking groups on adventures overseas and collecting sediment samples from Lake Windermere...long before I was thought about! ... She taught me patience, observation, a love of nature and how to make a draining-board from nettle string and hazel twigs!! Several years ago I created the 'Stella' collection in her memory. She loved nothing more than spending a moment looking at flowers and plants - it never ceased to bring her joy.
